Case Example

A very successful digital brokerage house (company A) fell out with the chief developer of their flagship product. The developer left and 4 months later the MD of company A noticed a competing company had an almost identical product to Company A's flagship product.

One phone call later it was established that the former chief developer of company A now worked for this company-(B).

Company A asked us to examine the computer of the former developer along with those of his colleagues and still employed and on a colleagues machine we found evidence of files containing the source code that had been uploaded to a online data storage facility.

The MD of Company A was able to confront Company B and get the product amended.
