"Web pages that could be better"

Some of us are fairly new to webdesign and have found this quite facsinating. Hopefully we can all learn from other' mistakes!

Get certified by the National Security Agency (NSA) in their INFOSEC Assessment methodology (IAM) and INFOSEC Evaluation methodology (IEM)

NSA4 day boot camp from the 2nd to 5th October 2006. Milton Keynes, UK. Just £1750.

At last, following international agreement, it is now possible for UK information security professionals to gain certification in the NSA INFOSEC Assessment Methodology (IAM) and INFOSEC Evaluation Methodology (IEM), previously only available to US citizens

Working with our partners, Security Horizon, these courses teach detailed and systematic methods for examining and addressing an organisation's information security vulnerabilities.

These methodologies were developed by experienced NSA assessors and result in NSA certification for eligible students. In addition, students benefit from learning directly from the IEM course co-authors as well as receiving free software products and publications.

Evidence Talks Ltd. have been appointed as the first company in the UK to be authorised to conduct this highly sought after training in the UK, to candidates with at least 5 years relevant experience.

Announcing mETL v1, the next generation email analysis solution for eDisclosure and eDiscovery
Following the global success of our forensic email tools, LoPe and LoPe Assistant, our development team have been working hard enhancing and further developing the product. We listened to our existing users and to the needs of those involved in litigation support as well as those conducting forensic analysis of vast numbers of email messages.

The result of this is mETL v1, a feature rich yet easy to use solution for extracting mail from MS Outlook® PST and IBM Notes® NSF files then tagging, filtering, exporting and reporting on email messages of interest.

Designed specifically to cope with bulk processing of multiple PST or NSF files automatically, mETL v1 dramatically speeds up the extraction, analysis, review and reporting of messages in discovery or disclosure cases.

mETL v1 brings together the two processes of data extraction and analysis into one streamlined and efficient process based on sound forensic principles using a simple, yet powerful interface that guides the user along the way.

Unlike other email tools, mETL v1 extracts and retains all metadata associated with each mail messages while providing a user friendly reviewing environment that looks and feels like an email client.

mETL v1 features at a glance.

  • Supports NSF and PST formats
  • Bulk extraction of unlimited mail stores
  • Output to XML, MSG or EML
  • Intuitive “email client” like interface
  • Uses forensic principles
  • Powerful indexing engine (dtSearch)
  • Intuitive search, tag, filter and export
  • Electronic distribution of results
  • Customisable print options
  • Integrated case management system

mETL v1 is planned for release in September and is licenced on a per workstation basis at the very competitive price of just £775. Existing users of LoPe and LoPe Assistant are all eligible for a FREE UPGRADE.
