Penetration testing
Also known as vulnerability testing, or technical risk assessing. This is a series of tests performed in order to assess the level of security a company has in place.
The tests are aimed at the perimeter of the company through the internet from outside to assess how secure the organisation is against an attack to the data held by the company. Tests are also performed from the inside to asses how easy it is for unauthorised employees to gain access to forbidden material.
Compliance
Evidence Talks are ideally placed to supply pen testing as part of overall compliance and due diligence assessments. We are able to provide both internal and external testers and have the breadth of experience to consult across the board to provide an overall package to satisfy the largest organisations, their shareholders and customers.

Hacking
This is the unauthorised entry to computer systems for the purpose of exploitation and gain. This can end in some form of blackmail against the target organisation or simply disrupt the business and prove the hacker's worthiness to his peers.
Locard's exchange principle provides the basis upon which the forensic analyst can find the tracks and trails left by hackers. Evidence Talks analysts are experienced and familiar with this kind of work.

Black-hat hackers
Whilst there are white-hat hackers, employed by organisations to test their logical perimeter security, a black hat hacker will operate outside of the law and Evidence Talks are able to track and identify these fraudsters.
