COVERS ALL THE BASES An innovative touch-screen interface on the SPEKTOR® Control Pod allows the operator to forensically wipe, verify and configure reusable SPEKTOR® Collectors which can then be used to acquire data from target PCs, Apple® Macs®, USB and Firewire devices, memory cards and loose internal hard disks in just a few minutes.

FULL PROTECTION AND LOGGING Most triage solutions allow their results to be viewed on Windows® or MAC® workstations, a process that can potentially leave evidential artefacts, such as illegal images, on the viewing platform. In addition to preserving the evidence and logging all user actions, SPEKTOR® further maintains evidential integrity by ensuring the collected data an d reports are protected from unauthorised access and viewing, storing them in separate, protected areas on the SPEKTOR® Collector in a special format accessible by forensic analysts but not by casual users on standard Windows® machines.

FLEXIBLE AND VERY FAST Built on the tried-and-tested scanning technology from another of our highly successful products, SPEKTOR® scans target devices with incredible speed, ensuring the minimum ‘time on target’. It achieves this performance by cleverly acquiring all user data while filtering out unwanted material during the scan. Existing forensic triage solutions can be slow and even miss data because they perform tasks such as keyword searches or hash matching during data collection. SPEKTOR® overcomes this by using the power of the Control Pod, rather than the target PC, to perform analysis on the collected data.

COMPREHENSIVE AND INTUITIVE Intuitive reporting presents data in a high level view, allowing the user to quickly drill down to the detail as required. Users can browse images, multimedia and data in all formats, such as PDFs, documents, spreadsheets, browser histories, search records, email, chat logs etc. From Windows® computers, SPEKTOR® automatically extracts forensically-useful data from the registry, including comprehensive profile settings, details of previously-attached storage devices, recent file activity, network setting, installed software, account details, auto-form details and much, much more.
