Technical Collaboration Launches
A collaboration between digital forensics specialist Evidence Talks and investigations and intelligence consultancy Blue Lights Digital is said to be "radically improving policing capability in the 21st Century". Evidence Talks has chosed Discovery - a mobile app-based digital investigation package designed for front line police officers - as the platform of choice to promote, educate and deliver knowledge and assurance directly into the hands of law enforcement.

A customer recently asked us to comment about the validity of MD5 and SHA1 algorithms which he felt had shown collisions as opposed to SHA256 hashing which he felt was more robust.
The question was asked should SPEKTOR be using SHA256 instead of other hash algorithms.

Vacancy for a Software Developer
Develop forensic solutions for law enforcement as part of a scrum team. Initially, primarily focused on development of existing desktop solutions but with opportunities for future web solutions development as we intend to migrate our main product to be a more web based solution. The candidate will be expected to communicate well and work well as part of a team.
